The Reality of Crumbl Serving Sizes: Why 1/4 of a Cookie?
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) mandates that single-serving confectionery baked goods list nutritional metrics based on standardized weight references. Because an authentic Crumbl cookie weighs over 5.5 ounces (150–165 grams)—comparable to a slice of dense restaurant cheesecake—Crumbl legally designates **1/4 of a cookie as a single serving**.
In practice, most consumers consume 1/2 to an entire cookie in a single sitting. For accurate dietary tracking:
- Eating 1/4 of a cookie: 170 to 220 calories, ~8g fat, ~18g sugar.
- Eating 1/2 of a cookie: 340 to 440 calories, ~16g fat, ~36g sugar.
- Eating a whole cookie: 680 to 880 calories, ~32g–42g fat, ~70g+ sugar.
Critical Allergen Disclosures & Cross-Contamination Warning
Crumbl operates open-concept commercial bakeries. While baking pans and utensils are washed frequently, **all cookies share mixers, baking ovens, cooling racks, and prep tables**. For more information, please refer to our allergen menu and gluten-free menu. Also see FDA Food Labeling & Nutrition guidelines.
Peanut & Tree Nut Allergies
Many weekly drops feature heavy peanut butter buttercreams or almond extract (like the Classic Pink Sugar). Crumbl bakeries are NOT peanut-free or nut-free environments.
Celiac Disease & Gluten Sensitivity
Flour particles remain airborne in open commercial bakeries. Even when Crumbl offers a "Gluten-Friendly" recipe, it is not recommended for individuals with severe celiac disease.
Dairy & Egg Content
Virtually every Crumbl cookie and specialty dessert contains real dairy butter, cream cheese, or eggs. Crumbl does not currently maintain a certified vegan menu.
